Overview of 'Find Help'
This section of the website is all about providing Gypsy, Roma and Traveller families with the advice and access to support they need to resolve any issue being experienced in accessing good education. It provides further information about the key areas which are most likely to have a significant impact on the education and wellbeing of a Gypsy, Roma and Traveller child or young person, as well as advice and guidance on how to identify issues, challenge them constructively, and ultimately see a change in the quality of education your child is receiving. As you move through this section of the website, you will see helpful links to other trusted organisations and websites who may be able to give more information and support than we can on a certain topics.
It is important to make clear that many issues Gypsy, Roma and Traveller families may face when trying to access good education are not easily solved. This is because there are flaws with the national or local policies which direct the operations of education. To assist with your understanding of what these issues are and what we are doing about them, we have also compiled pages on this website called Our Mission, where you can view the work we are doing and see the changes we are trying to make.
Whether you want to expand your knowledge further to better understand the issues your child or young person may face, or you need support to help with a problem you are currently facing, the guidance in this section will help.
